Peat pots suitable for sowing seeds. Fill the pot with soil to 1 cm below the rim, then place the seed in the center of the pot. Next, cover the seed with soil until the pot is full; do not press down on the soil. Lightly mist the soil with water. Place the pot in a spot with plenty of light, but not in direct sunlight. Check daily to see if the soil is still moist; if it feels dry, spray it with water. When the plant outgrows the pot, you can plant it—pot and all—directly into the ground. The roots will grow through the side of the pot.
