Stable shovel - No. 5 - Hardened steel - Without handle

The stable shovel (without handle) from Talen Tools features a relatively wide working blade, allowing you to move large volumes at the same time when mucking out and cleaning the stable. When using this hardened steel blade, pay attention to what material you are moving. Is this primarily heavy material? Then consider purchasing a slightly narrower stall shovel (No. 4), which can handle the impact of heavier material a little better. To protect the worktop from the influences of dirt and moisture, a transparent coating has been applied. Want to keep this coating intact longer? Then clean and dry the worktop after use. Apply a coat of oil or Teflon spray regularly to extend the life of both the coating and the worktop.

Why specifically a stable shovel?

The worktop of this stable shovel is designed to optimally scoop. The blade is larger than an average bats and thus better suited for work in larger spaces, such as a stable. That's not all, because the shape of this stable shovel is also different from a normal shovel or bats. Namely, you can see that the outside of the work surface is raised. Are you working comfortably? Avoid too much pressure on your back with a handle that is too short, and reduce the risk of overstretching your shoulders by not choosing a handle that is too long. With a wooden handle, choose a waxed model; these are dirt- and water-resistant. They remain strong longer and the natural wood look remains intact longer.
